Certainly not 830nm. A 830nm filter gives monochrome result.

I'm using it myself as well and it gives monochrome results. T50% = 830nm so it's no wonder (visible light ends around 750nm). Your photos look much more like they had been taken with a B+W 092 (T50% = 695nm) as they have vivid colors.

I don't really know myself ^^;
basically I put an infrared filter onto my lens - then 30s exposure (tripod) - and then a lot of color tweaks by postwork ^^;
